The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is the national space agency of India operating under the Department of Space (DOS) and headquartered at Bengaluru. As the primary agency in India to perform tasks related to space based applications, space exploration and development of related technologies, ISRO has emerged as one among the six government agencies across the world to possess full launch capabilities.
