ZEROING IN ASSOCIATION
India's First Student-led Podcast - Popularising Science Communication
Zeroing In was started in August 2020 as Zeroing In – The Science Podcast – with the primary aim of popularising science communication in India. As India’s first student-led science podcast, initiated as a part of the Alumni Association of the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram (IISTAA), Zeroing In is a formally registered not-for-profit Section-8 company/organisation since September 2021, working
towards science journalism, creating credible informational resources, and promoting scientific temperament through conversations palatable for the general populace primarily in the age groups of 16-30 years, beyond the researchers & enthusiasts.
Our Team
The current members on the advisory board of Zeroing In include – Prof. Arogyaswami Paulraj; Prof. Manoj B. S.; Prof. Kurien Issac; Mohd. Ahmad (IIST graduate); Prakhar Agarwal (IIST graduate). The functional team members are mostly researchers, graduate, and undergraduate students, from varied fields of sciences and arts, along with artists, musicians, and writers.
